Way back in the 1800s a Scottish physician, Dr Neil Arnott, devised a crude form of waterbed which worked well to prevent bedsores in invalids. He never patented his idea, but waterbeds continued to be used by forward-thinking medicos to relieve pain and pressure for patients.
In the 1970s the wider world cottoned on to the therapeutic benefits of sleeping on a waterbed, and since then the design and technology of these incredibly comfortable, form-fitting and easy to clean beds has been refined and improved.

There’s integrated heating, so you can regulate the temperature to add to your comfort and relaxation.
Even pregnant women find it easy to sleep comfortably on a flexible, form-fitting waterbed in the final stages of pregnancy. The water under the heavier parts of the body is displaced to support the lighter parts, meaning pressure points are naturally relieved as the waterbed adapts to your physique. In a waterbed you will sleep and dream as though you are floating, in a perfect temperature on an allergen-free surface.
The only disadvantage of a waterbed is that you’ll want to stay there all day as well as all night!
